Stephen J. Moran, 91, formerly of Boston and Plymouth died November 17, 2020. Steve was born in Boston to the late Frederick and Catherine Moran. He leaves behind his sons Steven and David as well as stepsons Joe, Jay and Brad Murphy and their sister Deborah. He was the grandfather of Michael Moran of Tallahassee, Florida; Kimberly Doucette of Dover, NH and Samantha and Sarina Moran of Pembroke, MA. He was blessed to be the great-grandfather of Owen, Norah and Calan Doucette of Dover, NH.
Steve played high-school football at B.C. High graduating in 1947 and went on to graduate from Boston College in 1951. From there he went into the Counter Intelligence Corp based in Washington, DC during the Korean war. After his service Steve embarked on a successful sales career spanning almost five decades in industries such as optical; greeting cards; printing and automobiles. During those years he befriended and mentored hundreds of people who would lovingly retell their stories of how Steve helped them turn their lives around one day at a time.
When he wasn’t selling or helping others you could find him watching the B.C. or Patriots game with an endless pot of coffee and his favorite oatmeal raisin cookies at his side. Steve’s humor, wit and the twinkle in his eye when telling stories that never went out of style will be missed by all who knew him.
