Obituary for Steven James Cogswell
Steven James “Jay” Cogswell 50 of Halifax passed away August 15,2022 after a long battle of multiple health conditions.
He was the son of Helen Cogswell and the late Earl Cogswell.
He was determined to live his life to the fullest and it was amazing what he could do for himself despite his disabilities. He loved to fish and football was his passion. He loved the companionship of his dog Sunka and his bird Jax. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews.
He is survived by his sisters Jennifer Cogswell and partner James Cleaves of Plymouth, Kelly Moore and husband John of Plymouth, Laura Crowley and husband Sean of New Hampshire, Kim Kennedy of Quincy. Brothers Earl Cogswell and wife Debby of Rockland, Jimmy Cogswell of Brockton and chosen brother Shawn Flipp of Taunton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He will be missed dearly by life long friends Erick and Julie Gerstel and Shawn Coffin.
