Suzanne Sutherland, 94, passed away on June 19, 2023, at her home in Marstons Mills, Massachusetts. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, to her parents, John W. and Helen (Costello) Redding, who have since passed away. After graduating from Ottawa Hills High School, Suzanne pursued higher education at Bennett Junior College in Millbrook, N.Y. She then worked as a Kindergarten teacher at Grace Church School in New York before her marriage to her loving husband Kenneth Sutherland. Together for over 60 years, they raised their family in New Canaan, CT before retirement in Boca Raton, FL and Marstons Mills, MA.

Suzanne was a loving mother and wife. In New Canaan she was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and volunteered at the VNA thrift shop. In Boca Raton she enjoyed long walks on the beach collecting shells. But her time in Marstons Mills was most treasured when the entire family gathered together each summer. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to them. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Sutherland Jr., Hollis A. Sutherland, and David W. and his wife Barbara (Cook) Sutherland. Suzanne will also be missed by her grandchildren Lindsay A. Sutherland, Kelsey (Christophersen) Cochrane, and her husband Devon and their daughter Cora, David W. Sutherland Jr., Andrew T. Sutherland, and Scott A. Sutherland. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth Sutherland.

Suzanne will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
