Obituary for Thomas Verrengia

Thomas J. Verrengia, 70, originally from Malden now of Plymouth passed away on May 19th at home surrounded by his family. He lost a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer with strength and dignity. He was the son of the late Arthur Verrengia and Josephine Verrengia age 99.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Maureen Monto Verrengia. Tom left quite a legacy and he will be missed every day. He leaves his three children, Matthew, Nathan and his wife Taylor, and his daughter Victoria. He also leaves three grandsons, Gio Matthew, Domenic Thomas and Anthony Robert. His sister in law and brother in law, Marilyn and John Borsari. His brother Dan and wife Rosanna, his nephews Jamie and wife Raquel and Jonathan and his wife Stephanie, along with five great nieces.
Tom was a quiet, hardworking man who was dedicated to his family. He had the best times with his children and grandchildren especially summers hanging by pool, watching and going to all Boston sports and skiing. Tom enjoyed music, keeping a meticulous yard and most recently sailing with his friends Mark and Tim.
Tom will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 24th from 5-7 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
