Obituary for Wayne Francis Pratt
Wayne F Pratt, 81, of Plymouth, passed away on September 19, 2020 at his son Harold’s home.
Wayne was born in Plymouth, MA to Harold and Marion Pratt. He graduated from Weymouth VoTech in 1957, as a sheet metal specialist. Wayne was a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard. He loved to fish and lobster with his son Harold.
Wayne was in a men’s hockey league and coached the Plymouth Mites and the Pee Wee’s, Hobomock Double A’s Traveling Team. They played many tournaments in Montreal. His sons played on these teams.
Wayne is survived by his sister, Muff Crowell and her husband Ed, of Maine. Wayne was preceded in death by his daughter Donna and his brother Stanley Pratt. Wayne was the father of Debbie Pratt of New Bedford, Wayne and his wife, Sue of Harwich, Harold and his wife Laurie of Plymouth, and Ellie and her husband Bobby of New Bedford. He leaves 7 grandchildren, Sam, Bree, Brian, Tina, Safia, Omar and John and one great granddaughter, Amelia.
