Scigliano, William, 88, of Carver, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 9, 2021. He was born in Houghs Neck, MA, the son of the late Edward A. and Ethel (Quirk) Scigliano.
Siggy spent his work life as a Union Laborer working for Local 721. He also worked as a shell fisherman whenever the union labor work was slow.
Siggy loved walking, going to the gym, being with his kids and grandkids. He loved going to his kids' and grandkids' games and events. He was their #1 fan. He was also a friend of Bill W. for over 48 years. He was an active member of the Eel River Group in Plymouth.
Siggy leaves behind his beloved children William J Scigliano of Plymouth, Donna Campo of SC, Michael Scigliano of Plymouth, Sherri Middendorf of Carver and Beth Scigliano of Plymouth. He was the loving Grandpa of 8 grandchildren; Kelli and Julia Middendorf, Rachel and Cameron Scigliano, Jack, Katelyn and Michael Casey and Nicole Campo as well as great granddaughter, Harlow Abeles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward A. Scigliano II. He leaves behind his niece, Kim Johnson, and his nephew, Bruce Scigliano, and many wonderful friends.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 14th from 2-4 pm.
