Albert E. Lanigan of Plymouth, formerly of West Roxbury, died peacefully January 6th surrounded by his loved ones. Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Mary B. Lanigan of Plymouth along with his children, Kathleen Sullivan and her husband William of Plymouth, Ellen LaCivita and her husband Steve of Foxboro and Kevin Lanigan and his wife Cindy of Pembroke. Albert was also the father of the late Stephen E. Lanigan of West Roxbury. He also leaves behind one sister, Patricia Herget of MA. Mr Lanigan was the loving grandfather of his nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2012 from 4-7 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter's Church, 86 Court Street. Plymouth on Thursday, January 10 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury. In lieu, of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
