Albert McShane, passed away in Plymouth, Mass., on Nov. 13, 2011. Al grew up in North Quincy, MA. He joined the Navy at the beginning of World War II and served in the Pacific on the aircraft carrier USS Bennington. At the end of the war, he married the late N. Terry McShane of Nantucket, MA. He worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph Company and Verizon for many years. Al was an avid golfer and was a longtime member of the Plymouth Country Club. He is survived by three sons Michael, Kevin and David, daughters-in-law Carole, Edith and Marie, and two grandsons, Chris and Andy. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Church in Manomet, MA at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Cranberry Hospice in Plymouth, MA.
