Alberto " Bootie" Rogers of Plymouth, age 76, peacefully passed away on October 31, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born in Plymouth, MA and was the son of the late Lucy (Mayo) nd R. Dunham Rogers.

Bootie was raised in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High in 1965. After returning home from the Vietnam War, he began working for the phone company. A few years later he started his longstanding 26 year career as a Plymouth Police Officer.

Bootie was a proud Vietnam Veteran in the United States Navy. He enjoyed golf, warm weather and being surrounded by his family and friends. He took great pride in his community and was an active member of the American Legion, Cold Spring and Unity Club, and The Young American Club. His kind hearted spirit left a long lasting impression on everyone he met. He touched many people's lives and everyone knew his name.

Bootie is survived by his sister, Sue Whiting and her husband Weston " Coomie" Whiting, as well as his nieces and nephews, Timothy, Jennifer, Jonathan, and Benjamin. He also leaves behind his love, Cindy Lawrence , her sons, Glenn and Seth, and his grandsons, Jake and Kyle.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Guy, Denny, and all of Bootie's friends for their loving support and unwavering friendship.

Funeral Arrangements will be under the care of Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth MA 02360. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 11:00am-12:30pm. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:30pm.

Interment will be private.
