Alma Johnson Flocke, 99, originally from Woburn, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully. Alma was known for her intelligence, determination, and love of writing. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Flocke, with whom she ran a successful travel business in Cohasset, Massachusetts, and enjoyed traveling widely.

A graduate of Simmons College with a degree in journalism, Alma had a distinguished career at AT&T as a journalist. She was also a proud member of the AT&T Pioneers, staying actively involved well into her retirement, always committed to service and innovation. Alma and Donald made their home in Norwell, New Seabury, and Marston Mills, Massachusetts. Alma is predeceased by her sisters, Nancy Johnson Eklund and Priscilla Johnson Nobles. She is survived by her nieces, Kristen Eklund Remondi of Winchester, Massachusetts; Heidi Eklund Biggar of Tyrone, Georgia, and Laurie Nobles Egglezos of Sumrall, Mississippi; and her Marston Mills friends.

Alma's passion for storytelling and design will be remembered by family and friends. A private burial is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
