Amber Geraldine Larkin née Rowe

2/4/44-6/3/2023

Born in Tyler Texas, Amber started this journey and lived her life on her terms- always.

Beloved by many throughout that time and supportive and loving to family always.

She had two children early in life and struggled to raise them as a single mom after divorcing her first husband. She worked as a secretary in Detroit, moved to a communal farm in Pennsylvania before traveling to Woods Hole with a friend. She worked at various jobs to put food on the table and a roof over her family's heads.

While in Woods Hole she met Paul Larkin, and knew at once that she would marry him- love at first sight for her. They did marry, and successfully blended their families together into one. They built several homes for themselves and various family members, leaving a tangible legacy they could both be proud of. Family was always her most important consideration when making decisions. Amber has touched the lives of many, helping where she could and always supportive of friends and family.

Amber is survived by 6 children and their spouses; Ed and Susan Schultze, Marcus and Annie Larkin, Robin and Phil Rich, Kim and Michael Collins, Ken Jones, and Vickie and Grady Harris. Grand children; Shayna Nicole Klick, Amber Collins, Griffin Collins, Jessica Generaux, Danielle Larkin, Austin Larkin, Jacob Connerly, Catharine Pompeli, Edward Schultze and Robert Schultze. Also many great grandchildren as well. Amber was the 'glue' that kept us all united. She is missed, and what is remembered lives. So she will live on in our hearts for years to come.
