Andrea Marie Horman, age 54 passed away on May 11, 2021 at the McCarthy Care Hospice in East Sandwich, Ma after a long and brave fight against metastatic breast cancer. She was born on March 28, 1967 in Winchester Massachusetts to James and Lorraine Leete. Andrea was raised in Burlington Ma and was a 1985 graduate of Burlington High School.

Andrea went on to study early childhood education at Westfield State College and graduated in 1989. She then started a career in the business world on Cape Cod with the accounting firm of DePaola, Begg. Andrea then went on to become the firm administrator at Crabtree CPA in Hyannis, Ma until her cancer diagnosis in 2014.

Andrea will be mostly remembered by her friends and family for being a dedicated and passionate mother. When Andrea was not enjoying warm summer days on Peters Pond in Sandwich or vacationing at York Beach, Maine, she was cheering on her daughters and their teammates on the soccer field. Another endearing quality that was shared to us by her many friends was how Andrea put others before herself and made them feel special.

Andrea is survived by her husband of 24 years Charles Horman of Sandwich, Ma and daughters Olivia and Daria Horman of Sandwich. She is also survived by her father James Leete of Sandwich and was predeceased by her mother Lorraine Leete. Andrea's brother Brian J. Leete passed away shortly after his sister on July 2, 2021. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, cousins, brother and sister in laws, and nieces and nephew.

A public graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday August 20th at the Sandwich Town Cemetery located at 231 rt 130 Sandwich, Ma 02563. This service will also include Andrea's mother Lorraine A. Leete and her brother Brian J. Leete. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the McCarthy Care Center Hospice located at 73 Service Rd, East Sandwich MA 02537.
