Andrew "Andy" Quindley of Plymouth, formerly of Middleboro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren, on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth.

Andy, a friend to all will be remembered for his friendly personality and ability to talk to anyone. Andy was born and raised in Middleboro and attended Public Schools until he decided to attend Bristol County Agricultural High School. After high school he joined the Navy and served in the Navy and the reserves for several years, while raising a young family. Upon his discharge from the Navy he returned to work at Sunnyside Farms in Middleboro where he had worked before he had joined the Navy. After leaving Sunnyside Farms he began working at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility, working on the farm and eventually becoming the Farm Superintendent. After leaving there he opened his own business, P&A Recycling, which he operated until his passing. Whether he was driving his ramp truck, bailing hay, or playing a game of cards he was always doing what he loved.

Andy is predeceased in death by his parents Norman and Barbara (Williams) Quindley from Middleboro as well as his grandson Jack Quindley from Carver. Andy is survived by his wife Patricia of Plymouth, to whom he was married to for 61 years; his son's Donald of RI, Michael and his wife Bonnie of Sandwich, Robert and his wife Monica of Plymouth, and his daughter Sherry of Osterville, his brother Richard of NH, and his sister Norma of Taunton. Along with his grandchildren Amanda, Megan, Erin, Jake, Jonathan, Julia as well as great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
