Obituary

Lahey, Ann Marie, 72, of Swansea, formerly of Plymouth, passed away at home on Sunday, January 8th, 2017. She was the loving daughter of the late Ambelina (Reggiani) and Paul Lahey and younger sister of the late Caroline E. Lahey. She is survived by her oldest sister Mary (Lahey) Weber. Ann was born and raised in North Plymouth and was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary's Church. She grew up as a very independent person and was well known and well liked within the community. Everyone in North Plymouth knew Ann and, likewise, Ann knew everyone. She enjoyed walking, bowling, music, dancing, car rides, shopping and sports. What Ann enjoyed most was socializing and was happiest attending family gatherings, celebrations, and sporting events with her family and friends. Ann was also a proud participant of the Special Olympics, winning medals, including those for track and softball throw. She was very proud of them. In addition to her sister Mary, Ann leaves behind her loving and caring nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind five great nieces, two great nephews and ten great-great nieces and nephews in addition to her extended family and friends. She also had a very special relationship with her great nephew, David Lee. Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 13th from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth on Saturday, January 14th at 9:45 am.
