On July 26, 2014 Anneliese Elisabeth Lehr died peacefully in her home, after a long illness, with her family by her side. She is survived by her brother Erich, sister-in-law Heidi, nieces Silke and Aylin, nephew Kenan, aunts, cousins and also by her beloved Godchildren Andrea Donovan and Ulrike Simon and their families. After coming to America from Germany in 1958 and becoming a U.S. citizen she went on to work at Chelsea Memorial Hospital, with over 25 years at Spaulding Rehab Hospital and North End Nursing Home as a Senior Nursing Assistant. Through the years she was adopted by many families and lovingly known as "Anna" or "Auntie Lisa". We feel a special angel went to heaven; ich liebe dich. To honor her, there will be a celebration of her life at her home in Easton on Sunday, August 24th at 3:00 pm.
