Barbara Parent, 96, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025 at her daughter, Maureen and son-in-law Vernon's home in Mashpee Massachusetts, with loved ones by her side. She is a former resident of Deltona, Florida, and Agawam and Springfield Massachusetts.

Barbara was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on January 12, 1929 to the late Ethel and Theodore Suppenor.

Barbara is survived by her son Skipper Ward of MA, daughter Judy Maltinsky (Jack) of WV, daughter Hope Rubner (Rich) of MA, daughter Bonnie Long (Richard) of AZ, daughter Cathy McCaffrey of SD, son Michael Parent and his wife Lynn of MA, daughter Susan Plummer and husband Bob of FL, daughter Maureen Lawrence and husband Vern of MA, daughter Cynthia Elliott (Craig) of MI, son Kevin Parent and his wife Shelley of FL and son Keith Parent of FL.

Barbara had a large family which included 13 children, 29 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Harold "Lefty" parent, Barbara is predeceased by her daughter's Ethel Gordon and Kim Kockmick, her grandson, Shane Dulaney and her parents Theodore and Ethel and 5 sibilings.
