Barbara (Ruffini) Riedel, died peacefully at home in Plymouth on Thursday, Jan 14, 2016, at the age of 74. Barbara is survived by a loving blended family that includes her children, son Jeffery Riedel of Stafford, VA, daughter Dana Riedel and partner Deena Glaab of Chandler, AZ, son Mark Riedel and wife Kristen of Plymouth, Sara Grey and husband Doug of Plymouth and Matthew Ward and wife Tara of Old Lyme, Conn; brother James Ruffini and wife Nancy of Belton, MO, sister-in law Cheryl (Yeager) Ruffini of San Antonio, TX and brother-in law Guy Luscombe of Portales, NM. She is also survived by six adoring grandchildren, Brian, Taylor, Chelsea, Zachary, Allison and Jacob. She also was "Nonie" to Kurtis, Hannah, Samantha and Abigail Grey and Aidan, Kaitlyn, Keara, Ashlynn and Liam Ward. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Barbara Ruffini, sisters Eleanor and Pauline, brother Thomas and dear friend Trudy Ward. Barbara was born July 15, 1941, in Plymouth, to Richard and Barbara Ruffini. She was raised in Plymouth and attended Plymouth schools. Barbara raised her family in Plymouth and was a dedicated employee of Stop and Shop for many years. She delighted in spending time with her family, tending to her garden, cooking and ensuring the needs of everyone around her were met. She was adored by all and will be sadly missed.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation is on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 4 - 7 p.m. at Bartlett Funeral Home with a funeral on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. at St Peter's Parish Church in Plymouth. Interment will be at St Joseph's Cemetery in Plymouth.
