Barry Roger Lavoie, 70, of South Dennis, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on October 6, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on December 4, 1952, in Webster, MA, to the late Roger and Lucille (Carmel) Lavoie. He spent much of his life in Webster and Dudley before moving to The Cape.

Barry attended school in Dudley and graduated from Bartlett High School. He had a successful career at Lavoie Auto Company until it closed. He went on to get degrees in both Education and Interior Design.

He enjoyed golfing, listening to music, gardening, home decorating and remodeling, boating and cooking.

Barry will be greatly missed by his surviving family members including his wife Kerry (Sheehan) Lavoie, his son Sean Lavoie, his sisters Janice (Lavoie) Szlyk and Lori (Lavoie) Tarmey, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his pets Cassidy, Jagger and Joni. He was preceded in death by his his parents and his son Daniel J. Lavoie.
