Beverly R. Croce, of Halifax, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on June 17th, at the age of 85, after a long illness. She was a remarkable woman, known for her unwavering devotion to her family, her passion for teaching, and her selfless dedication to community service.

Born to the late Francis and the late Myrtle Mongeau, Beverly was a natural scholar who had a deep love for learning. She was a voracious reader and possessed a genuine passion for teaching others. Her dedication to education extended beyond the classroom, as she found great joy in volunteering her time and knowledge to various community service initiatives.

Beverly's culinary skills were legendary, particularly her baking and cooking, which earned her a reputation for creating delectable desserts. She delighted in sharing her culinary creations with others, bringing joy and happiness to those fortunate enough to taste her dishes.

A true mentor at heart, Beverly always had open ears and open arms for anyone seeking guidance or support. She touched the lives of many through her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beverly was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Croce, with whom she shared 58 beautiful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamila Croce Holt Smith. Although their physical presence may be gone, their love and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those they left behind.

She is survived by her loving brother, WIlliam Mongeau of Coconut Creek, Florida, her devoted son, Chaplain Danny Croce of Hanson, his wife Kim, and their children Melissa, Daniel, Thomas, Elizabeth, and Dara. Another son, Dave Croce of Quincy, and his children Taylor, Alisa, and Vienna, also mourn her loss. Additionally, she leaves behind her grandchildren Eric, Kaitlyn, Brittainy, and the late Samantha Smith, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Beverly R. Croce on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10am. The service will take place at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 429 Monponsett Street in Hanson, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Beverly's memory to the Halifax Public Library.

Beverly R. Croce will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. May she rest in peace, knowing her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
