IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly A
Primeau
February 8, 1943 – June 25, 2024
Beverly Ann Primeau, 81, died peacefully in her home and surrounded by family on June 25 after a short battle with cancer.
Beverly was born in Uxbridge, MA, graduated from Uxbridge High School and had a long career as a nurse at Cape Cod Hospital.
As a young mother and voracious reader, Beverly returned to college to earn her BA in English Literature at the University of Massachusetts. While she loved her travels to Europe and the Caribbean with her lifelong companion, soulmate and best friend, Julien Primeau, above all she enjoyed her summers strolling the beaches of Cape Cod with her family and close friends.
Beverly had a passion for gardening, creating a magical environment around her home that was enjoyed by her many grandchildren and their friends. Her summer family badminton tournaments were legendary, with the highly sought after Most Improved Player trophy awarded each year.
Beverly is survived by her partner of over fifty years, Julien Primeau, two daughters, Pamela (Seth) Cohen of New York City, and Rebecca (Jay) DeBettencourt of Sandwich, MA, four grandchildren, Julien (Lindsey) Collins, Jordan (Misa) DeBettencourt, Dylan DeBettencourt and Zaida Cohen, and brothers Brad and Wayne Paddock.
While Beverly is no longer with us, we take solace knowing she has been reunited with her son Scott and mother, Aurore Paddock.
A private celebration of life will be held to honor Beverly on July 13th. For more information please contact Bartlett Funeral Home at 508-746-3456 or doug@bartlett1620.com.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her honor may be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation at www.michaeljfox.org.
