Binh Xuan Mai Obituary

Binh Xuan Mai, 80, of Plymouth, MA passed peacefully with his family by his side on May 10, 2025. He was born in Gia Kiem, Vietnam on April 20, 1945. He served 10 years in the South Vietnamese Army, then relocated to America in April 1975 with his wife and eldest son.

Binh was known as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a loyal friend and hard worker. As an immigrant from Vietnam, he worked tirelessly to build a life for his family in the United States. His proudest moment was being able to send his four children to college. He was known for his love of fishing, and enjoyed working on home projects, tending to his garden, attending mass, and being with friends and family. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Nhuong Vu, son Man Mai and his wife Tina of Randolph, MA, son Dat Mai and his wife Cindy of Lawrenceville, GA, son Hung Mai and his wife Kim of Middleton, MA, and daughter Kim Goldberg and husband Jason of Westwood, MA. He leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Jonas, Siena, Quinn, Lincoln, and Andy. He is also survived by sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Binh will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on throughout our lives.

Calling hours will be at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court St. Plymouth, MA from 4-7pm on Thursday May 15th. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston at 9:00am on Friday the 16th. Burial will follow the mass in Westwood Cemetery, Westwood MA.
