Obituary
Brenda Mary (Connolly) Hopey, 80 years young, long time resident of Pembroke, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Alice (Lyons) Connolly of Hingham. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Hopey, she is survived by her children, Helen Pettersen, Frank Barone, Jim Barone all of Pembroke, MA, Jeffrey Beliveau of FL and the late Catherine Barone, many grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was a voracious reader and throughout the years she worked beside her husband at Northeast Store Fixtures formerly of Marshfield, MA, later becoming a Certified Nurses Aide working at Cranberry Hospice. She had many friends and enjoyed talking to people, sharing stories and making people smile.
Funeral Services will be private. Donations in memory of Brenda can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284.
