Brian Anthony Boucher passed away June 24, 2023 in Brewster, MA following his 3 year battle with Glioblastoma. Brian was the epitome of LIFE from the time of his birth. His amazing aptitude and love for all sports, specifically soccer, started at an early age and flourished while playing for the Sutton Fuller Hamlets on teams that won two state championships. During district finals his senior year at St John's High School, Shrewsbury, MA he earned the MVP and All State awards and then went onto win All New England at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA. Brian was always ready for any "game"; he even developed an epic golf/basketball tournament during March Madness which he celebrated every year with his best friends. He commanded every room he walked into, his infectious spirit made him an amazing father, and his generosity was abundant to those who knew him. You could find Brian on a typical Cape Cod day shell fishing, gardening, cooking, bike riding, playing bocce on the beach, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.

He obtained engineering degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute & University of Maryland. Throughout his professional life, he worked as an engineer for the Department of Environmental Protection (MA), Three Mile Island (PA), Coastal Engineering (MA), VC Summer Nuclear Plant (SC), Firesmart (SC), and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SC).

He is survived by his wife Christine Boucher, beloved daughter Abigail Boucher, parents Robert and Judith Caforio Boucher, brother Craig Boucher (Dana), father-in-law Rev Igor Burdikoff, sister-in-law Stephanie Zak (Jeff) and niece Catherine, brother-in-law Michael Burdikoff (Karen) and niece Emily. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He is predeceased by his fraternal grandparents Dorothy and Antoine Boucher his maternal grandparents Margaret and John Caforio, cousin Christopher Caforio, and his mother-in-law Cecilia Burdikoff.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Brian at Our Lady of the Cape Church on Stony Brook Road in Brewster, MA, on Thursday July 6, 2023 at 11 am.

So many groups have help support the entire family during this journey and we would ask in lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor may be given Angel Flights East or Abigail's Edward Jones college fund.
