Obituary

Brian Chandler was born on October 20th , 1941, to Phil Chandler and Elizabeth Chandler.

Brian grew up on Cove Street in Duxbury along with his sister Carol. Brian's family ran a bakery in Snug Harbor and milk delivery service until his father built a sales route specializing in food distribution. In 1963 Phil Chandler died and Brian took over his sales route to support his mother and sister. Brian grew in the distribution business to hold many executive roles and retired in 2002. Brian also owned a family restaurant and several investment properties with his son Phil. Brian loved his family and friends and his passions were Corvettes and boats. His first Corvette was a 1969 Stingray C3 and the last was a 2024 Stingray C8. Boats came and went just as the cars did, but none of it was as special as when he met the love of his life Margaret. They were able to spend a lifetime together in 11 years, traveling the world, spending time with grandchildren, and finding laughter and smiles in every day in each other's company.

Brian leaves behind his love Margaret, Son Phil, his wife Rebecca, and grandchildren Zachary, Ryan, Isabella, and Charlotte, his daughter Deb and grandson Jimmy, stepson Adam Devine and his wife Tammy along with grandchildren Zachary and Cameron. Brian also leaves behind his sister Carol (Chandler) LaPrade, husband and friend Bill LaPrade, along with nephews Bill LaPrade and Mike LaPrade.
