Obituary

Brian M Low, 76, of Plymouth, MA died on October 27, 2021 at Cape Cod Hospital after a long battle with congestive heart failure.

Brian was born in Beverly, MA and graduated from Beverly High School in 1962. Upon graduation he worked many jobs until he finally settled in the maintenance department at the Boston Globe where he worked for 23 years. In addition to working at the Boston Globe, Brian worked 2-3 additional jobs at all times to support his family. When he wasn't working 60+ hrs a week Brian loved camping with his family at Kings and Queens court campground in South Lebanon, ME where he was a constant presence at the horseshoe pit. It took him many years to finally buy his beloved camper and he spent as much time there as he could until he finally sold it in 2008 upon moving to Cape Cod to be near 3 of his grandchildren.

Brian was an adoring husband, brother, father, and grandfather of 10 who he adored deeply. He closely followed all of his kids and grandkids lives and accomplishments. Additionally, he loved playing a game of cribbage with anybody who was interested... especially his grandkids. He was an avid Boston sports fan, loved to fish, and enjoyed going to the drag races. Brian was also a big dog lover and loved his grand puppies.

Brian is survived by his wife Carol of 53 years, his brother David of Watertown, MA, his son Chris and his wife Debbie of Longmeadow, his daughter Tracy Prete and her husband Chris of Sandwich, his son Albert of Lakeville, and his son Tim and his wife Julie of Norfolk; as well as his 10 beloved grandchildren Taylor, Kelsey, Adam, Matthew, Sarah, Alison, Ryan, Erin, Owen, and Paisley.

A small celebration of life is being planned for the near future with a larger one to follow in summer 2022 at his favorite campground. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's name can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
