Carl Martin Swanson, 52, of Plymouth Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2024. He was born in New York City on June 11,1971, to Ronald and Lyulma (Morales) Swanson and spent his childhood in Weston, Massachusetts.

Carl was a determined person with a passion for social justice and helping the underserved. He attended Bridgewater State College for his undergraduate degree and received his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University Law School. From there, he went on to work for Arthur Anderson as a CPA in Tampa, Florida, and later as a public defender before moving back to New England to continue his career. Through the years, Carl struggled with mental illness, but he had recently found stability and peace pursuing his career again before his unexpected passing.

Carl is survived by his loving family: father Ron; sister, Monica; brother, Kirk; sister-in-law, Sara; nephews Edward, Evan, and Henry; and niece Anna. He was preceded in death by his mother Lee.
