LADD, Carolyn 67, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Nov. 24, 2011. Born May 29, 1944 in Plymouth, MA. Carolyn was the loving mother of Susan Beaton and her husband Jim of Sagamore Beach, MA and Merlin Ladd and his wife Lisa of Plymouth, MA. Loving sister of John Shaw and his wife Marilyn of Manomet, MA. Her life's passions were her family, friends, and traveling. She was the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren: Tim, Tom, Rob, Maggie, Merlin, and Nora. She is survived by many other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be celebrated Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at 2:00pm, in the First Parish Church on 842 Tremont Street, Duxbury, MA.
