Carolynn von Berg, aged 79, passed peacefully at her home in Plymouth, MA, on January 16, 2025. Born on February 6, 1945, in Quincy, MA, she was raised in Braintree and was known for her warmth and kindness to all who were fortunate to know her.

Carolynn was married to her devoted husband, William von Berg, for 57 years and was a proud mother to Paula, William Jr., David, and Christina. She is survived by her brothers; James Meal and wife, Ada, John Meal and fiancee, Michelle Geloso, and Brian Meal and wife Lori. She is also survived by her son David and his wife Karen, along with grandchildren Darby, Katelyn, and Evangeline of Linthicum, MD, as well as her daughter Christina and husband Andrew Guarino of Plymouth, MA. Additionally, she is survived by her dear sister-in-law Valerie and husband Robert Nelligan of Lake Worth, FL.

Her compassionate nature, love for animals, and her talents in gardening and cooking filled her home with beauty and warmth. Carolynn's musical spirit shone through her piano playing, creating lasting memories for her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life honoring Carolynn will be held on Saturday, January 25, from 12-2 PM at Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth, MA, 338 Court Street. We invite all who knew her to join us in sharing stories and celebrating her vibrant life.
