On October 9, 2018, Christine Marie Bentley (Cicierega), 66, of Brockton and Easton, MA, passed away peacefully at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA. Christine was born on September 10, 1952 to Gerald and Alice Cicierega.
Christine's approach to life was to take "The Road Less Traveled" (she loved the book) but humorously swore she was plagued by Murphy's Law. Unavoidable roadblocks didn't always bring out her best, but there were many good times. She now peacefully continues her journey on a new "road less traveled," free from roadblocks.
Before dedicating her time as a proud mother of three, Christine earned her bachelor's degree from C.W. Post of L.I.U. and worked at a bank. She loved cooking, seeking out farm fresh produce, keeping an open door policy, helping others in need and watching the weather channel.
Christine found ways to volunteer whenever possible. She was a Sunday School teacher, chaperoned school activities and enacted a recycling class that reflected her extreme passion for the environment.
Christine is survived by her father, Gerald and his wife, Judy; three children, Natalie, Catherine, and her husband Paul, and Keith; her brother, Jerry and his wife Nancy; two grandchildren, Jack and Matthew; as well as step family, nieces and nephews.
On June 22nd, calling hours start at 10 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:30 a.m to 12 p.m. at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth MA. In lieu of flowers, please "pay it forward" by helping others who are struggling on their path, like many people did for Christine. Donations may be made in memory of Christine M. Bentley to Hospice or Cape Heritage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
