With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Clifford Donath ("Cliff") of Eastham at the age of 77 after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by love and passed away at McCarthy Care Center on March 23, 2026.

He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Sydney and sister Sheila Donath.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy, their son Jason Donath, his wife Jennifer and beloved grandchildren Brooke and Evan.

Clifford leaves behind sisters Loel Holloway (and husband Peter of Morristown, NJ), Tina Montoya of New Egypt, NJ, Susan Freeman of Middle Island, NY and his brother Carl Donath of Middle Island, NY, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Cliff graduated from UMass Amherst with a master's degree and pursued a career as a psychometrician. He and his wife established The Donath Group providing professional exam development consulting services. During his career, Cliff served as the Executive Director of the International Association of Computer Adaptive Testing (IACAT).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
