Cora A. (McLean) Burchfiel passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Cora was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Elmer C. Burchfiel and loving mother to David C. Burchfiel of North Carolina, Diane M. Armstrong of East Bridgewater, Cynthia A. Scanlon of Carver, Joyce M. Sullivan of Brockton, and the late Alan R. Burchfiel. She is also survived by her grandchildren Vicki J. Alexander of Georgia, Eric M. Scanlon of North Carolina, Alison M. Costa of Plymouth, Amanda M. Armstrong of East Bridgewater, Katie L. Fortier of Brockton, John E. Sullivan, IV, and Hailey J. Sullivan of Brockton, plus her great grandchildren, Dylan, Maya, and Michael Alexander of Georgia; Kaylee and Brooke Costa of Plymouth, and Tyler Scanlon of North Carolina. Daughter of the late Mabel H. (Dwyer) McLean and Douglas B. McLean and is the sister of Madeleine Mulkern of California and the late Alvin and Douglas McLean, and many nieces and nephews. She was also very grateful to her devoted and loving friend, Pam Smith of Holbrook. Funeral services are private. Donations in her memory can be made to the Animal Rescue League.
