Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, friend and a proud Veteran Daniel Ellis Lunn. Daniel was born in Middleborough, MA and he eventually moved to Cape Cod, MA. He lived most of his adult life there working and raising a family. He passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, at the age of 70 after a short battle with cancer.

Daniel served in the United States Air Force as a Plumbing Specialist during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. After his time in the service, he owned a automobile repair shop and he performed vehicle repair and maintenance, later he obtained his CDL license and went on to work for Brown Fishing as a lead lobster trap maintenance repairman for over 30 years. Later on in life he became an ordained minister and dedicated the remainder of his life to honoring and serving God. He was dedicated to serving and spreading the word and message of God to others. Daniel had many various hobbies and interests, which included playing guitar, writing books, extensively reading, inventing, and gardening. One of his fondest memories was playing music with the band in the basement in their home with the family.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Timothy, Jason and Joseph Lunn and his daughter Christine Hachey. Additionally, he is pre-deceased by his son Daniel Ethan Lunn. Daniel will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A burial will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery on Friday, January 31st at 9:30 am. Friends are welcome to attend.
