Daniel Murphy, 65 of Plymouth, MA passed away March 21st after a brief illness. Born on July 15, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia, Dan was President and Co-Founder of Murphy & O'Neill, Inc. He had a great passion for writing and playing music and loved sharing his music with his grandkids. He is survived by his fiancée, Julie O'Neill of Plymouth, MA, mother, Gregg Murphy of Somerville, MA, sister, Martha Kay Bastian of McKinleyville, CA, daughter Melissa Pelletier of Attleboro, MA, Four grandchildren, Savanna Murray, Lukas Murray, Kris Murray and Henson Murray of Attleboro, MA, along with many other family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 10th from 4-8pm at Waterfords Restaurant, 2 Bridge Street, Dedham, MA. We are memorializing Dan with an open music session. Please bring your instrument to play as a tribute to Dan. Dan was working on getting Potato Chips supplied to the patients of the Cancer Center in Plymouth to have with their lunches during chemo treatments. Donations of lunch size bags of potato chips are encouraged. There will be a drop box at the life celebration or can be sent directly to the Cancer Center at BID-Jordan Hospital, 275 Sandwich Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.
