David A. Burgess, 71, of Plymouth, MA passed away peacefully at home on September 21 st
surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 47 years to the late Kathleen (Hawes) Burgess.

Loving son of the late Clarence and Mary (Brown) Burgess. Devoted father of Jason Burgess,
Michael Burgess and his wife Sharon, Julie King and her husband Gregory, all of Plymouth.  Proud
Papa to Charlotte, Parker, Avery, Emily, and Benjamin. Loving Brother to the late Thomas Burgess
and his wife Judy of the Villages, FL, Steven Burgess, and his wife Jenay of Hyannis, and Janet
Cardarelli and her husband Leo of Waltham.

David was born on July 6, 1950, in Newton, MA. He attended St. Mary's High School in Waltham,
where he met the love of his life, "his bride," Kathy. He graduated from Stonehill College in 1972
where he met his lifelong friends, "The Screamers". David was an Account Manager in consumer
product sales for Johnson & Johnson, Chattem, Block Drug, and retired in 2015 from ESM New
England. Dave was an avid Patriots fan and season ticket holder for years with his dear friends Al
and Pete. He enjoyed a life by the ocean and treasured his time with his family and friends.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A celebration of Dave's life will be announced at a later date.
