Crooker, David G, age 74 of Middleboro formerly of Pembroke, passed away on January 17, 2016. The son of the late George and Helen (O'Conner) Crooker. David attended Quincy High School, Newbury College and UMass Boston. He was a US Navy Vet. He was also the former owner of Shore Side TV and A-1 Computers. He taught at Sylvania Tech, South Shore Vo Tech High School, Southeastern Reg Vo Tech High School and he retired from Upper Cape Cod Reg Tech High School in 2010. Before his illness David was active in the Gideons, GARS2, Pembroke Assembly of God Church and did a bible study every Monday night at Plymouth County Correctional. David was the devoted husband of 54 years to Barbara (Fitch), loving father to David II and his wife Jacqueline of Olympia,WA, Dwayne and his wife Peg of Culpeper, VA, Douglas of Louisville, TX, Derrick of Fairbanks, AK and Jennifer and her husband Patrick Quackenbush of Kingston. He also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at Pembroke Assembly of God Church, Route 53, Pembroke on January 30th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice, Dana Farber or Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
