Denise Marsha Scannell

May 12, 1960 – October 17, 2025

Denise Marsha Scannell, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and Aunt passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025.

Born in Brockton, Mass and raised in Dedham, Denise attended Ursuline Academy.

Denise built a life with her family on Cape Cod, where she delighted in cooking and gardening in her younger years, and later found comfort and joy in reading. She was especially proud of her three grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Corinne Valor; her grandchildren, Logan, Zoey, and Declan; her sisters, Darlene, Kim-Marie, Kirstin; and her brother, Jamie . She was predeceased by her loving parents, Jim and Jacquie McLellan.

A gathering to celebrate Denise's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hopeful Outreach of Cape Cod 501c3 in Denise's memory.
