Dennis Ray "Denny" Freyermuth of Plymouth passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on April 3rd, 2024, at the age of eighty. He was a beloved partner of over fifty years to Barbara (Bosari) Fratus of Plymouth.
He was a loving father figure to his step son Scott Fratus and his wife Carolyn of Plymouth. He was a dedicated grandfather to Daniel, Nathan, and Corinne. He leaves his brother Robert, and is predeceased by his brothers Dexter and Ronald.
Dennis was born in Kingston on May 22nd, 1943, to the late John and Olive (King) Freyermuth. He grew up in Kingston and graduated from Silver Lake High School. He enlisted in the army in 1962 and was honorably discharged on November 30th, 1968. He worked as a barber for 51 years at his own "Denny's Barber Shop" in Marshfield, MA and retired in January of 2021. He was happily known as "The Mayor of Marshfield" according to town citizens. He was an avid fan of golf and Boston sports. He was a season ticket holder for the Patriots for over 20 years, and recently handed the tickets down to his oldest grandson Daniel to keep the legacy going. He would do anything for his family, and loved them very much.
A period of visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth.
