Dennis C. (Red) Nickerson, 65, of Liberty, ME and Plymouth. Born Oct. 15, 1947, died in Plymouth, Ma. Friday, August 23, 2013 of cancer. Dennis was raised in Chiltonville he attended Plymouth Schools. He was the son of the late Margaret Nickerson, nephew of the late Charles A Nickerson and John R Nickerson. He was the grandson of the late John C. and June May Swift Nickerson. He resided in Maine for the last few years with long- time friend, Emory Boyer. Upon returning to Plymouth he resided with cousin, Joseph Diodato, where he spent his remaining days. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially enjoyed spending time at his family's Gilbert Trout Hatchery. He was an avid card player, enjoying Cribbage and Whist. He is survived by brother, Ralph Jameson, of Plymouth, sister,Cynthia Thomas, of Pinellas Park, FLA. and by cousins; Wayne, John, and Daphne Nickerson and Janet (Susie) Neal, Rodman E. (Skip) Nickerson and Darlene Nickerson, and the late Linda Nickerson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Following cremation, services will be private.
