IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dolores Rose
Winterson
December 2, 1936 – November 23, 2025
With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Dolores Winterson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She left this world surrounded by the family who meant everything to her, carrying with her a lifetime of faith, devotion, and happiness.
She raised her family in Norwood, Massachusetts, creating a loving home filled with warmth, love, laughter, and strong traditions. Family was always at the center of her world. She poured her heart into raising her three children and found endless joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each one a blessing she treasured.
Her home became the heart of countless celebrations, holiday traditions, and simple everyday moments that are now priceless memories.
Her Italian background made her homemade spaghetti and meatball dinners a family favorite. During the summer months you could always find her on the beach or on the front porch reading a good book and saying Hi to all. She had a contagious laugh, welcoming heart, and loved a good bargain.
Her love for God and her deep devotion to the Blessed Mother guided her life and gave her strength. She passed that faith on to her family through her actions, her compassion, and the gentle way she cared for others. She also cherished these special places that became part of her life story —Hawaii, San Diego, and White Horse Beach.
She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, tradition, faith, and family—a legacy that will continue to shine through the lives of all who loved her. Though she will be missed beyond measure, her spirit and her love remain forever with us.
She is survived by her husband John, their 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A service in her honor will be held on Friday, December 5th at 10am at St. Bonaventure Church in Manomet, MA.
