Doris L. Cronin, born on July 28, 1946, peacefully passed away on May 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79.

She is survived by her son, Mike Cronin and his wife, Liana, of Winter Garden, Florida; and her daughter, Cassandra Lemcke and her husband, Benjamin, of Kingston, Massachusetts. Doris was a proud Mimi to Richie and Maddie Cronin, and Sam and Max Lemcke. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard Cronin; her son, Richard "Rich" B. Cronin; and her parents, Captain Burton Eddy and Eleanor (Anderson) Eddy.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Doris was a woman of creativity, dedication, and quiet strength. In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing and often made her own clothing, reflecting her talent, independence, and attention to detail. Doris graduated from Katherine Gibbs Institute and went on to build a successful career. She served as the Administrative Assistant to the President of South Shore Hospital, where she was respected for her professionalism, dedication, and unwavering work ethic. Above all else, Doris cherished her family and the simple joys of life. She loved summers spent at Great East Lake in New Hampshire, tending to her backyard garden, and days at the beach. These were the moments where she felt most at peace, surrounded by nature and those she loved most.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
