In Memory Of EDWARD FRANCIS MACNEIL MacNeil, Edward (Ed) Francis, 76 of Plymouth, formerly of Maynard and Dorchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020. Ed was born to the late Doris Wallace on April 20, 1944. Ed served in the United States Army and worked as a truck/livery driver for many years. Ed loved his "girls" and being a grandfather. He enjoyed music, tenpin bowling, and golf. Able to boast of a hole in one hit by him a few years ago at a local golf course. Ed was an avid Dallas football fan and loved watching all sports. Ed also enjoyed cooking and has prepared a lot of popular dishes over the years that will be missed by many. Ed was the loving husband of Gail (Skinner) MacNeil. Loving father of Michelle MacNeil-Ryde and husband Mike Ryde of Plymouth; and Monica MacNeil Stroup and husband Ron Stroup. Loving grandfather to Chloe and Ben. Ed is survived by his siblings, cousins, brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home. Internment: Bourne National Cemetery, Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 10:45 a.m.
