Obituary

It is with deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Elinor Duxbury Marshall, who left us on May 24, 2025, at the age of 74. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on December 13, 1950, Elinor was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Pullen.

Elinor lived a life centered around family, compassion, and quiet strength. On March 26, 1973, she married the love of her life, John Bruce Marshall. Together they built a home full of love, raising two children who were the center of Elinor's world. After John's passing in 1984, Elinor showed incredible resilience and unwavering devotion as a single mother, always putting her children's needs before her own.

Elinor's love for her family and friends was unparalleled and she often expressed this through the time she spent with them and the pure joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Elinor's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her love and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly LaCroix and her husband Michael, and her son Jonathan Marshall. Elinor also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Bruce LaCroix and Jonathan Marshall, Jr. She will be deeply missed by her brother Clark Pullen and his wife Cindy, and her sister-in-law Rhonda DiCesare and her husband Bob. Elinor was a beloved "Mimi" to Joshua and Ally DiCesare, whom she loved dearly.

Elinor worked in the jewelry industry all of her life and in her free time she loved spending time with her children, going to the beach, listening to Barry Manilow, crocheting, playing bingo and a good lobster roll.

In lieu of a funeral, we encourage you to remember Elinor's love of life through acts of kindness and compassion to everyone you encounter.
