Emily Bell (Robertson) Cassidy, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Plymouth, MA.. Emily was born on July 14, 1941, to Mozelle Robertson and Town's Robertson from Decatur, Georgia. She was a Nurse for her entire working career. She worked in many areas of the nursing field and did an exceptional job in all. To those that knew her best, they would say she had a gift of connecting with people and always would lend you her ear whenever you needed.

Our family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Cranberry Hospice, the staff of Plymouth Rehabilitation Center, and everyone who has provided care to Emily these last few months. As a family, we will be forever grateful for the support and kindness shown. She is survived by her love of her life John Cassidy and by her daughters, Shannon Cassidy, Stacy (Cassidy) O'boyle and her daughter Katie O'boyle and her son Jack O'boyle. Emily is also survived by her son Sean Cassidy and his wife Virnaliza Cassidy and their daughter Tessa Cassidy. Her eldest daughter Cathy Cassidy passed away from a long battle with cancer in 2016.

Per Emily's wishes instead of a service, she would love for you to take some time in nature, spend time with animals, or relax with a great book. In lieu of flowers, and Emily's request, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity in her name. In lieu of charity, please consider planting a tree or flowers in her memory.
