Topazio, Eva, of Plymouth, formerly of Middletown, CT, passed peacefully at the age of 106 on November 14, 2012.
Eva was born on February 13, 1906 in Middletown, CT, the daughter of the late Angelo and Maria Barbieri.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Edward S. Topazio of Plymouth. She is survived by her daughter Marie (Topazio) Robinson (wife of the late John Robinson) of Plymouth and grandchildren Mark Robinson and his wife Winnie of Kingston, Kim Robinson of Plymouth, Bill Robinson and his wife Therese of Plymouth and Amy (Robinson) Lawson and her husband Chris of Plymouth.
Eva was fortunate enough to live see her great-grand children Heidi (Robinson) Whipple, Katherine Robinson, Peter Robinson, Meghan Robinson, Will Robinson, Shannon Robinson, Lilienne Lawson, Evalina Lawson, Ted Fountain and Katie Malandrino. Eva also enjoyed her great-great-grandchildren Sam and Ben Whipple, Ben, Ezra and Zeke Fountain, Luca and Ella Malandrino. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews in CT.
Eva dearly loved and enjoyed both her family and friends. She was an avid reader of mystery novels well into her 100s - sometimes reading a book a day! Eva continued her interest in politics and voted in every local and presidential election since she was allowed to vote.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home at 338 Court Street, in Plymouth on Saturday, December 1st. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow. There will be a private burial at a later date. After the ceremony, friends are invited to join the family at the Plymouth Yacht Club on Union Street in Plymouth.

Eva received exceptional care from the nurses and staff at Golden Living Center. Her "Angel" Suzie took exceptional, loving care of her.
