Evelyn (Evey) Eunice (Brown) Childs of Duxbury, MA passed away on June 22, 2015 at home surrounded by her loved ones. The daughter of the late John James Harold (Harry) and Alice Brown, she was born in Everett, MA, on July 22, 1929. She is survived by her husband, William (Bud) Childs, her son Bill Childs and daughter in law Sandy Childs of Duxbury, MA, her son Bobby Childs and daughter in law Liz Childs of Annapolis, MD, her daughter Cindy Thompson and son in law Scott Thompson of Hillsborough, CA, her daughter Pam Childs and her partner Lynn Johnson of Campton, NH. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Casey, Christy, Kyle, Alex, Cody, Sara and Corey, and her six great grandchildren. She was married to the love of her life, her soulmate, and high school sweetheart, for 63 years. Residents of Duxbury for over 35 years, she spent many hours enjoying the Duxbury Beach with her children and grandchildren. A lover of people, she consoled all those who visited her during her final days. A celebration of life will be provided at a later date.
