Hartrey, Evelyn Anne (Fredette), passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at home in Carver, MA on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 at the age of 70. Evelyn was the loving mother to Heather Jewell and her husband Eric, of Belmont, NH and Melanie Hartrey of Wakefield, MA. She was a devoted Noni (grandmother) to Alexandra Hartrey, and Sarah and Abigail Jewell. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary (Romano) and Roy Fredette. Evelyn went to Quincy High and graduated in 1964. Among the many things she cherished; spending time with her grandchildren, bringing them to the beach. She loved attending and performing at the King Richards Faire among many other Renaissance Fairs with family and friends. She loved traveling, bingo, playing cards and gambling, anything to be together with friends and family. Evelyn was a wonderful woman, full of life. She will be missed by all that were lucky to know her. Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 8th from 4-5:30 pm at the funeral home. There will be a memorial service at 5:30. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to BID-Plymouth Cancer Center, 275 Sandwich Street, Plymouth, MA 02360 in memory of Evelyn Hartrey.
