Francis William Blake of Plymouth and Middleboro, 78, formerly of Dorchester's Neponset section passed away on March 21, 2024. Born in Boston on October 21, 1945.

Fran was the son of the late John Blake and the late Anna (McDonough) Blake. Loving husband of the late MaryEllen (Bradley) Blake. Father of Deborah Parillo and husband Robert of Kingston; Michael F. Blake and his wife Diane of Pembroke. Brother of Libby (Blake) Sacco and husband Eddie, Billy Blake and his late wife, Sissy. He was preceded in death by sister Anna (Blake) Cuccinello and husband Rudy, Mary (Blake) Sweeney and husband Bob, Katherine (Blake) Shea and husband Paul, and brother John Blake survived by wife Betty Blake and brother Ricky Blake. Loving Grandfather of Bradley and Jessica Parillo, Aidan and Colin Blake. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Fran loved many things but most important to him was his family and his beloved grandchildren. He was a loyal supporter of all their endeavors and whenever possible was seen at all their games and functions. He had a wonderful sense of humor and used his quick wit to always put a smile on the faces of friends and family. Fran made others feel comfortable despite often dealing with significant health issues. His positive attitude brought joy to all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 1st from 4:00-7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be at St. Peter's Church Tuesday April 2nd at 10:30 am, 86 Court Street, Plymouth. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran's memory can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
