George E Griffis, born November 26, 1928, (95) of Plymouth, died on September 15, at BID hospital of Plymouth. George was born in Corry PA, to Milton G and Helen (Dombrowski) Griffis.

George served in the US Air Force and retired after 20 years. He then went into car sales and worked for Gene Wild's, Sgarzi Pontiac-Buick and Marty's GMC.

George is survived by his significant other of over 25 years, Linda A Morey and her family, brother David J (Lynne) Morey, niece Amanda (Jon) Morey, nephew, Andrew (Rachel), and his favorite little people; Maddison, Brooks, and Harper. He also leaves behind two brothers, John Griffis of PA and Milton Griffis of TN, a son, Patrick D Griffis of CA and 3 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

George loved gardening, fix-it projects, his Township game, and his Cutty Sark and soda.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett funeral home, 338 Court St., Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 19th, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. A funeral mass will be at St. Peter's church, 86 Court Street, Plymouth at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St Joseph cemetery.
