Pyne,George Robert, 57, of Plymouth, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 07, 2011. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Lauren (Ryan) Pyne. Devoted dad to Ryan and his wife Jessica, and Douglas, all of Plymouth and George (Pyne) Stewart and his wife Jennifer of Baltimore, MD. Loving "Papa" to Aryana and Molly of Plymouth and Damon of Plymouth and Middleboro. "Papa George" to Samantha and Marissa of Baltimore, MD. Loving brother-in-law of Maureen Ryan of East Boston and Marshfield Hills. His extended Plymouth family includes Patty and Russell Shirley and their children, John and Kristen (Shirley) Farley and Erin Shirley, as well as Joseph Galofaro and Samantha Nichols. He was the son of the late Bill and Molly Pyne of South Boston. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, William (Billy) and his wife Elizabeth, of N.H. and FL, Maryanne (Midgie), of N.H. and FL, Joseph "Papa Joe" and his wife Janis, of ME, Roseanne (Penny), of Dorchester, Kathleen (Kathy), of Weymouth, John and his wife Kathy of Weymouth, Bobby and his wife Stephanie of Winthrop and Patty and her husband Pat of South Boston. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thom. He is also survived by many neices and nephews. George was an employee for many years of the Plymouth County Sheriffs Dept. He was an avid N.E.Patriots Fan. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be on Sunday September 11, from 3:00-6:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church in Plymouth on Monday September 12th at 12 P.M. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
