Sampson, George A, 78, of Plymouth, passed away due to complications from diabetes on January 5, 2014. He was born in Plymouth, the son of the late Nelson and Alfreda (Gordon) Sampson. George was the husband of Katherine (Kathy) (Darsch) Sampson. He was the father of Kaleen Faflik and grandfather of Lauryn of Cuming Georgia. He was the step father of Arnold Fonseca, Lori Diodato and Trish Guilfoy. He was the step grandfather of Shane, Augustino, Anthony, Amanda, Amy, Linwood, Harry and Margaret. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. George was one of nine brothers; Nelson, Donald, Richard, Frank, Robert, Bruce and Charlie Sampson as well as David Malaguti. George worked for Boyer paint for 40 years. He was a member of the Cold Spring Club for many years. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Interment will be private.
